Konami Gaming, Inc. announced that its award-winning SYNKROS™ gaming enterprise management system has been selected by Rush Street Gaming for the new Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady, a $330 million riverfront entertainment destination outside of Albany, New York. Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady will open its doors in the early part of next year with 1,158 slots, 65 tables games and 16 poker tables, all powered by the strength and stability of SYNKROS’ leading systems architecture, advanced integrations, and comprehensive marketing suite. The agreement also includes a wide variety of game purchases to support the casino’s opening, most notably Konami’s popular Concerto™ video slot.
“Rush Street has continued to expand SYNKROS across its portfolio due in large part to the long-term collaboration we’ve maintained with Konami to leverage their technology to drive new solutions for our business,” said Zelletta Wyatt, vice president of strategic planning and operations at Rush Street Gaming. “We need a system that’s flexible yet stable, and Konami’s SYNKROS has that core infrastructure we can depend on to support this operational ecosystem that is so vital.”
Konami’s first systems installation with Rush Street Gaming began at the debut of their first property, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh in 2009. Since then, expansions to SugarHouse Casino, Rivers Casino Des Plaines, and now Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady, have fueled new benefits and features to staff and customers alike.
“Customization is key for our business. Our players are unique and we’re always striving for the latest SYNKROS tools that allow us to speak to their interests with offers and promotions that drive targeted results,” said Mary Cheeks, general manager of Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady. The new property is set to receive Konami’s SYNKROS Offers Management™, which supports robust customizations for multiple player loyalty offers delivered through a specified variety of notification channels. “We’re confident in what SYNKROS will deliver to our newest property and look forward to seeing it realized in the experiences of our first guests to Rivers Schenectady.”
“We strongly appreciate our relationship with Rush Street Gaming and the milestone successes we’ve been able to accomplish over the years,” said Scott Richards, senior director, systems sales for Konami. “Through the coming months we are focused on giving our best in support of Rivers Schenectady’s launch and ensuring a solid long-term outlook.”
