The testing concluded on Friday and the site began around-the-clock real money play on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The Playsugarhouse site is operating under New Jersey Internet Gaming Permit NJIGP# 15-002, which was issued to the Golden Nugget Atlantic City casino. In addition to its own sites, the Golden Nugget also hosts Betfair’s New Jersey site

Playsugarhouse, which is also available via mobile apps for both Android and iOS, is a casino-only site offering slots and table games from companies such as Aristocrat, Bally, High 5 Games, IGT, NYZ, Shufflemaster and WMS.

Playsugarhouse is operated by Rush Street Interactive, the online gaming division of Rush Street Interactive, the online gaming division of Rush Street Gaming, which operates the SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia. The Sugarhouse launched a Rush Street Interactive-powered social casino one year ago under the CASINO4FUN brand.

Rush Street Interactive was among the companies deemed eligible for an internet gamvling transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) in November 2013. These waivers allowed eligible companies to play in New Jersey’s regulated online gambling pool once they struck a deal with a casino licensee.

The SugarHouse isn’t the first Pennsylvania casino to have homed in on New Jersey’s online gambling action. In july 2015, the operators of Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun and Pennsylvania’s Mohegan Sun Pocono casinos launched under Resorts Casino Hotel’s license. Mohegan Gaming Advisors, a subsidiary of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, also manages Resorts’ brick-and-mortar gaming operations.

The DGE will release the syaye’s online gambling revenue report for August on Wednesday. The state’s regulated online market has been on a tear in 2016, setting new revenue records despite the ongoing erosion of its online poker market.
